Comedor

The Sunday low-down:
A riveting Sunday school class at 9:30 with the young adults at the church. Right now we're discussing gender; how we define God, and the practices that come from those definitions. Then people hang out and eventually the church service starts. Its scheduled for 10:45, so normally sometime around 11:15 we start singing. After church we have a comedor, or cafeteria, for the members of our church who are homeless. Someone from the church cooks a good hot meal and we all get to sit down and eat together. A favorite meal in argentina is "fideo con tuco", which is spagetti with red sauce. I love to hear different stories from the week. I really enjoy this time on Sundays.
