Unlikely Comfort

It's hard to imagine that this photo could bring me warm feelings of friendship, laughter, sharing mate, stories, and life, playing cards, word finds, and enjoying good company of our friends. Yet, when it is rainy or cold outside, this area provides a space for congregating and hanging out at Retiro, the train and subway station that sees thousands of people pass through daily. Our friends come here to gather and sell newspapers, find companionship, or shelter from the rain.
